Our CEO and founder of Sensei-M, Cindy Ikie has committed herself to educating individuals from all walks of life. She is a private tutor of Biology (GCSEs & A Levels), Chemistry (GCSEs), Physics (GCSEs), English Literature and Language (GCSEs).

Miss Ikie has been educated at Russell Group universities, including the world renowned Imperial College London where she attained her Masters of Research in Biomedical Research. She has a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Reading.

 

Miss Ikie is currently undertaking a PhD in Biosciences at Cardiff University as a full scholarship awarded research student. Her scientific knowledge and ability to convey complicated ideas in a simple way is invaluable. Her teaching and guidance provides students with relatable and memorable insights to their studies.

As a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Ambassador, Miss Ikie has completed full training and a full Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to ensure safe working with young people in an educational setting. 

​

She has been selected and invited to speak on the BBC. On numerous occasions she has been invited  for her willingness to participate with live BBC debates and her outspokenness and eloquence on the topic of race relations in the UK. She is an intellectual and motivational public speaker.

Aware of the educational barriers for Black and Ethnic Minority students, Miss Ikie aims to offer a few free sessions to Black and Ethnic Minority students to help them achieve good grades and gain confidence in the sciences. Please contact us to arrange such sessions.
